Young women in high school are encouraged to participate in our 12-session program to learn more about the opportunities in agricultural and ocean technologies and how jobs in those industries can make a difference in fighting climate change.
Throughout the program, we will be joined by female engineers, innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs to learn about their experiences, and get hands-on with workshops hosted by SuperNOVA staff from Dalhousie University.
Ocean technology is a rapidly growing industry in Atlantic Canada and over six sessions, we will explore topics like ocean observation, ROV usage, sustainable fisheries, renewable energy and more!
Agricultural technology is developing across the region, and throughout these six sessions, we will explore topics like robotics, artificial intelligence, data software and more!
Participants can be entered to win prizes including "a day in the life" shadowing of an industry leader!
